Biography:

Adrian Toomes, known as the Vulture, is a Marvel Comics supervillain and a recurring adversary of Spider-Man. A disgruntled former electrical engineer and business partner, Toomes was cheated out of his share of the profits.

Using his scientific knowledge, Toomes created a special harness that granted him the power of flight and enhanced his strength. Driven by revenge, he adopted the identity of the Vulture and embarked on a life of crime.

The Vulture first appeared in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #2 (May 1963).
